The Dodge County Adult Drug Court is set to hold a graduation ceremony on November 5, 2024. Judge Geoffrey C. Hall will preside over the event, which will take place at the Dodge County Courthouse District Court Room in Fremont, Nebraska.

This ceremony marks the completion of an intensive program for problem-solving court graduates. The program includes comprehensive behavioral health treatment, community supervision, and accountability measures. These courts offer an alternative path through the criminal justice system for nonviolent drug offenders by employing a specialized team process within the existing court framework.

The aim of these courts is to reduce recidivism and substance use among individuals with substance use disorders. They focus on public safety and rehabilitation success by using risk assessments, individualized treatment plans, chemical testing, and various incentives and sanctions.

For more details or interview requests regarding the event, Brandon Jerred can be contacted at 402-719-0155. Additional information about problem-solving courts can be found on their webpage.

In Nebraska's judicial system, power is distributed among several courts as directed by the state's Constitution. All state courts are under the administrative direction of the Supreme Court.
