The North Dakota Court System has announced an opening for the position of Juvenile Court Officer I in Fargo, ND. The full-time role offers a monthly salary of $5,452 and is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Key responsibilities involve performing case management and probation services for delinquent children. This includes investigating backgrounds to assist the court in determining appropriate case dispositions, developing case plans addressing community protection and competency development, administering various assessments (risk and need assessments, mental health assessments), preparing predisposition reports, attending court hearings to provide testimony, maintaining regular contact with probationers to ensure compliance with court orders, making service referrals, documenting case notes in files, visiting youth in various settings (homes, schools), supporting parental involvement, participating in public relations activities with community organizations to maintain resources for children and families.
