Rick Robinson, a partner in Reed Smith’s Life Sciences Health Industry Group, has been given a lifetime achievement award by Washingtonian magazine, the global law firm announced.
Robinson was listed in the publication’s Top Lawyers Hall of Fame on Sept. 16. This distinction is reserved for lawyers who have been on Washingtonian’s Top Lawyers list for 10 or more of the last 15 years.
Robinson represents health care and life science companies in a number of areas, with a particular focus on government fraud and abuse investigations, including audits, litigation and white-collar criminal cases.
Inclusion in Washingtonian’s Top Lawyers list is received through peer voting: The publication asks local attorneys whom they would turn to if they needed legal help and advice.
Robinson has consistently earned awards from many legal guides. He was included in The Best Lawyers in America for health care law from 2006 to 2023, and for qui tam law in 2023. Chambers USA ranked him for Washington D.C. Healthcare (2005-2008 and 2010-2022); Chambers USA also ranked him for Nationwide: Healthcare (Regulatory & Litigation) from 2011 to 2019, the year the category was terminated. He also has many years of recognition from Legal 500.
