Evan Raskas Goldfarb named a 2021 BTI M&A Client Service All-Star

Award

Thompson Coburn LLP issued the following announcement on Sept. 13.

Thompson Coburn is proud to announce that BTI Consulting Group has selected Thompson Coburn partner Evan Raskas Goldfarb as a “2021 Client Service All-Star” based on unprompted client feedback it received during its annual survey of corporate counsel at Fortune 1,000 and other large organizations.

Those in-house counsel named 207 attorneys in the United States who stood above all others in delivering the absolute best in client service.  Despite the challenges of the past year, the BTI M&A Client Service All-Stars were able to anticipate clients’ needs, expectations and risks, and deliver premier legal advice and counsel.  BTI compiles its All-Star list by asking corporate counsel, in an unprompted manner, to name an attorney who truly stands out as delivering the absolute best client service. No attorney or firm can self-nominate, self-refer, nor pay to be included in this report.

Evan is a past chair of Thompson Coburn’s Health Care practice and a current member of the Firm’s Management and Executive Committees. For nearly 30 years, Evan has served as a trusted advisor to hospitals, health systems, long-term care facilities, health plans, physicians, and other businesses involved in the health care industry. She counsels health care clients on a wide variety of regulatory compliance issues — both in the context of structuring corporate transactions and managing day-to-day operational issues.

Said Evan, "When it comes to serving clients, our top priority is to understand their business objectives. We then develop a strategy using our healthcare regulatory expertise and transactional experience to provide targeted and efficient legal support designed to achieve the clients’ objectives." Whether leading a large multi-hospital system through a major acquisition or fielding questions about day-to-day operations at a small regional hospital, Evan centers her representation around the specific needs and objectives of her clients.

One of Evan's clients describes her as "a wonderful advisor who puts herself in my shoes and helps me create practical strategies that evaluate risk and move us forward." "She's thoughtful, prudent, and completely dedicated to the issues that matter most to our organization."

According to BTI, Client Service All-Stars practice seven key behaviors: they are nimble, pragmatic, anticipate what's ahead, see the forest and the trees, are always communicating, are confident, and don't give up.
