Reedsmith LLP issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.
The list shines a spotlight on 30 “trailblazing women leading the charge and making positive changes in the City.”
Real Estate partner Sarah Cunningham is featured for her work with some of the London office’s top real estate clients, as well as for leading women’s events at both the firm and industry levels. Sarah was named as a Rising Star in Super Lawyers in 2014 and 2015, and recognized in The Legal 500 UK in 2019.
Finance associate Erika Kolb is featured because of her work representing issuers, managers, trustees and other parties in a range of financing transactions, as well as her work on human rights initiatives. She is U.S.-qualified, admitted to the New York Bar, and got her law degree in the United States.
Both lawyers are credited for their work mentoring junior members and supporting WINRS, the firm’s women’s initiative network.
This year, Sarah is participating in the 30% Club cross-company mentoring scheme, designed to develop a broader pipeline of women and balance at every level of the career pyramid.
Erika is passionate about fighting the injustice of wrongful conviction in death penalty cases, and has volunteered to work with an organization that monitors Florida’s administration of its death penalty.
