Holland & Knight issued the following announcement on June 26.
Holland & Knight attorney Sarah Pickering has been accepted into the inaugural class of the Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
The Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute was created by ACTEC Fellows to develop the profession's future leaders in trust and estate law through a series of in-depth educational presentations by outstanding subject matter experts in each field. The six sessions in the inaugural institute begin in September 2019 and conclude in April 2020.
Ms. Pickering, an associate in Holland & Knight's New York office, will join 37 attorneys from throughout the region as participants in this highly selective program.
ACTEC is the professional association of preeminent trust and estate lawyers selected for membership by their peers and based upon their knowledge and experience. Holland & Knight has more ACTEC Fellows than any other law firm in the United States. They include some of the current and past committee chairs and members of the governing body of the College.
