Morgan Lewis partner Stacey Anne Mahoney has been selected to receive the William T. Lifland Award from the Antitrust Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA). The award acknowledges those who throughout their professional careers have distinguished themselves as leading antitrust practitioners and have served the broader antitrust community in a leadership role.
Stacey’s practice includes all aspects of antitrust law. She represents clients as plaintiffs and defendants in courts throughout the United Sates in cases involving restraints on trade, monopolization, tying, exclusive dealing, price discrimination, false advertising, unfair competition, and related business torts. In her merger practice, Stacey develops and implements domestic and international merger advocacy strategies, including trial as needed. Stacey’s counseling practice includes advising on distribution and pricing issues, as well as joint ventures and other competitor collaborations.
Stacey is also active in the legal community. She is a former chair of the NYSBA’s AntitrustSection, former chair of the Section’s Nominating Committee, anda current member of itsexecutive committee. In addition, she is the immediate past chair of the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Committee of the New York City Bar Association and has held several positions on American Bar Association committees, including as liaison between the Antitrust Law and International Law sections; vice chair of the International Antitrust Law Committee; and member of the Corporate Counsel, Federal Civil Enforcement, and Trial Practice committees of the Antitrust Law Section.
The NYSBAis set to present the award to Stacey on January 17 at its 142nd annual meeting.
