GREENBERG & TRAURIG: Greenberg Traurig Adds Two Attorneys in Southern California, Further Strengthening Corporate and Litigation Practices

Greenberg Traurig LLP issued the following announcement on Nov. 27.

Continuing the strategic growth of its southern California offices, global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has added corporate attorney Daria K. Boxer as of counsel in Los Angeles, and litigator Daniel Rashtian as of counsel in Orange County.

“We are excited to welcome these two experienced attorneys,” Orange County Co-Managing Shareholder Susan L. Heller and Los Angeles Co-Managing Shareholder Jeff E. Scott said in a joint statement. “Daria and Daniel further strengthen our existing capabilities in key practice areas, in keeping with our strategic vision of hiring talented lawyers to address clients’ needs.”

Boxer focuses her practice on corporate and commercial finance transactions, including structured finance and secured lending, as well as private and public offerings of debt and equity securities. She regularly advises clients on securities law and corporate governance issues and general corporate matters. She has been involved in a broad range of financial transactions, including asset-backed financings, marketplace loan financings, bank credit agreements, revolving and term credit facilities, monetization of earn-out rights and financing transactions under the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Southwestern Law School, and her B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude, from San Diego State University.

Rashtian represents clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies in litigation matters involving breach of contract, fraud, intellectual property, class actions, business torts, construction, employment, insurance coverage, and insurance bad faith. He counsels clients on claims brought by business partners, shareholders, employees, homeowners, customers, and policyholders. Rashtian advises clients on strategy and risks in active litigation, and provides guidance on how to minimize or eliminate future litigation. He received his J.D. from University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and his B.A. in Economics and Political Science, summa cum laude, from University of California, Los Angeles.

Most recently, in the firm’s Corporate and Litigation Practices, Greenberg Traurig’s southern California offices added Corporate Shareholder Kevin Friedmann, and Litigation Shareholders J. David Bournazian and Elizabeth Valentina.
