Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has been awarded a 2018 Diversity Law Institute Law Firm Diversity Award. The award was presented to San Francisco Partner Meryl Macklin on behalf of the firm at the Litigation Counsel of America 2018 Fall Conference & Celebration of Fellows.
The Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) is an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar. Membership is limited to 3,500 fellows, representing less than half of 1 percent of American lawyers. Macklin, along with several other BCLP partners, is a fellow of the LCA.
Diversity Law Institute (DLI) Law Firm Diversity Awards are given annually to a select number of law firms that have advanced, promoted or supported diversity and inclusion in the profession of law and share a commitment to promote a more diverse, equal and inclusive legal profession.
DLI is an international association of lawyers and law firms committed to diversity in all aspects of the legal profession and justice systems of the United States and Canada. Its purpose and mission is to advance the interests of women and minorities in the profession and to aid in the administration of justice where possible. Its more than 4,500 members are from every U.S. state and the provinces of Canada, and also include representatives from Europe, Africa, Asia and Central America.
