The office of Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane settled a lawsuit with a furniture company owner on Tuesday over allegations that the company failed to deliver furniture purchased by consumers on its website.

Matthew Kolodesh, one of the owners of MIG Enterprises Inc., which operated under the name Furniture XO, agreed to pay $15,000 in restitution to customers. In addition, he will no longer be allowed to operate or control any businesses in Pennsylvania.

The Bureau of Consumer Protection, which is part of the attorney general's office, previously reached a settlement agreement with Nellie Tsan, the other owner of Furniture XO. Tsan, who also owns Salada Enterprises, Inc., will reimburse Furniture XO customers an additional $35,000.

Furniture XO customers who filed complaints with the Bureau of Consumer Protection before the settlement, or who file within 90 days of court approval of the deal, will receive a portion of the restitution.

To file a complaint in connection with Furniture XO, call 1-800-441-2555 or visit www.attorneygeneral.gov.

The settlement is awaiting approval by the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
