Sharon man pleads guilty to drug trafficking near school

A Sharon, Pennsylvania resident has admitted guilt in a federal court for trafficking fentanyl and cocaine near an elementary school and a day care facility. The announcement was made by Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti.

Larry Marrow, aged 37, confessed to possessing with the intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine within 1,000 feet of a playground, school, or public housing on July 6, 2023. His guilty plea was entered before United States District Judge Robert J. Colville.

The sentencing is set for September 30, 2025. According to the law, Marrow faces a potential sentence ranging from a minimum of one year to a maximum of 40 years in prison. He could also be fined up to $2 million or face both penalties. The final sentence will depend on the severity of the crime and any prior criminal record Marrow may have.

Assistant United States Attorney Craig W. Haller is handling the prosecution for this case on behalf of the government.

The investigation leading to Marrow's prosecution was carried out by the Mercer County Drug Task Force, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.
