A Portland woman has been arrested following a criminal complaint that charges her with making threatening interstate communications and engaging in anonymous telecommunications harassment.

Court records indicate that Alice Jones, 40, allegedly made threatening phone calls to a Supervisory United States Border Patrol Agent, among others.

Kimberly Milka, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Boston Division, stated, “The FBI takes all threats against law enforcement extremely seriously and we will work with our partners to bring those who set out to undermine their safety to justice. What Alice Jones is accused of is not only an attack on these individuals but the entire criminal justice system.”

The investigation into the case was conducted by the FBI. It is important to note that criminal complaints are allegations, and the defendant remains presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
