Stephanie Ann Allen, a 34-year-old resident of West Virginia, has been sentenced to over 12 years in federal prison. The sentencing comes after her conviction for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.
Court documents reveal that law enforcement officers observed Allen engaging in suspicious activities in a Morgantown parking lot. A subsequent search of her vehicle led to the discovery of 73 grams of methamphetamine and 7 grams of fentanyl. Allen's criminal record includes previous charges for burglary, robbery, and drug possession.
In addition to her prison term, Allen will be subject to three years of supervised release following the completion of her sentence.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda Wesley. The investigation was conducted by the Mon Metro Drug Task Force, which is supported by HIDTA funding.
Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh presided over the proceedings.
