Shawn Michael Bork, a 49-year-old resident of Mount Clare, West Virginia, has been sentenced to 180 months in federal prison for methamphetamine distribution in Harrison County. The sentencing was announced in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Court documents reveal that Bork utilized social media platforms to facilitate drug trafficking. A search of his residence uncovered a firearm, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and $166,315 in cash stored in a duffle bag. Bork's criminal history includes convictions for violating a domestic violence order, harassment, obstructing justice, transporting controlled substances into a prison, and drug trafficking.
Following his prison term, Bork will be subject to three years of supervised release.
The prosecution was led by Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Cogar. The investigation was conducted by the Greater Harrison Drug Task Force as part of a HIDTA-funded initiative. Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh presided over the case.
