A Dallas man has been sentenced to a decade in federal prison for his involvement in methamphetamine trafficking in the Eastern District of Texas. Acting U.S. Attorney Abe McGlothin, Jr. announced the sentencing.
Emmanuel Robles, aged 39, admitted guilt to charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine. He received a sentence of 120 months from U.S. District Judge Robert W. Schroeder III on May 5, 2025.
Court documents revealed that between 2019 and 2021, Robles worked with others to transport methamphetamine into East Texas for distribution purposes. During this period, he distributed over 1.5 kilograms of actual methamphetamine. Robles acknowledged supplying controlled substances to a co-conspirator on multiple occasions spanning from July 2019 through April 2020. Additionally, he consented to the forfeiture of a $20,000 money judgment.
The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Texas Department of Public Safety – Criminal Investigation Division, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Alan Jackson.
