Antonio D. Moncrief, a 35-year-old resident of Cleveland, Ohio, has received a prison sentence of 71 months for trafficking fentanyl in Ohio County, West Virginia. The sentence was announced in Wheeling, bringing a conclusion to a case involving the sale of fentanyl on Wheeling Island.

Court documents indicate that Moncrief, also known by the alias "Tone," was involved in distributing fentanyl. Authorities seized methamphetamine, cocaine, and 107 fentanyl pills during a search at an apartment linked to Moncrief on North Front Street.

Following his prison term, Moncrief will be under supervised release for three years. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Clayton Reid.

The Ohio Valley Drug Task Force, a program funded by HIDTA, conducted the investigation into the trafficking activities. The sentencing was carried out under the oversight of U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey.
