Trinity Christian School seniors from Williston had a day of learning at the state supreme court and legislature on April 11. Teacher Farrah Guenther led the visit, which started with a tour of the capitol in the morning. The students observed an afternoon legislative floor session before moving on to gain insights into the inner workings of the North Dakota court system.
During the court visit, students were given an overview of the appeals process and the ways in which judges and justices are elected to their positions. The educational trip provided students with a firsthand look at government functions.
