A Cumberland County man, Raymond Nattress, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term for continuous sexual abuse of a child. The judgment was announced by Attorney General Dave Sunday, stating that Nattress will serve 23 to 46 years in prison. Additionally, he will be under probation for 12 years and is required to register as a sex offender for life.
Raymond Nattress, aged 46 and residing in Lower Allen Township, was found guilty of multiple charges which include three counts of rape of a child, two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, alongside other charges including aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors.
“Individuals who prey on and repeatedly harm children have no place in a free society,” Attorney General Sunday stated. He also commended the victim's courage in bringing the matter to light and applauded the efforts of the Lower Allen Township police and his team for their role in ensuring justice.
The victim testified that the abuse occurred from August 2020 to February 2021. This case was initially brought to the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General by the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office. Senior Deputy Attorney General Jaime Keating was responsible for handling the case.
