A man from Doddridge, Arkansas has been sentenced to over 16 years in federal prison after being found guilty of distributing child pornography. Nathaniel Gareth Doggett, aged 22, will face 198 months of imprisonment followed by 10 years of supervised release. The sentencing took place in the U.S. District Court in Texarkana under Chief Judge Susan O. Hickey.
The offense came to the authorities' attention via a report submitted to the FBI by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. According to court records, Doggett transmitted child pornography via a social media platform to a minor. FBI agents, upon questioning him, received an admission from Doggett that he had downloaded and shared such illegal content, including files depicting pre-pubescent children.
In June 2023, Doggett was indicted by a Grand Jury in the Western District of Arkansas and later entered a guilty plea in August 2025. As part of his conviction, Doggett is required to register as a sex offender.
The announcement regarding Doggett's sentence was made by U.S. Attorney Clay Fowlkes of the Western District of Arkansas. The investigation involved the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, the El Dorado Police Department, and the Arkansas State Police. Prosecutors Assistant U.S. Attorneys Devon Still and Graham Jones represented the United States in the case.
