The State Board of Law Examiners has revealed the performance outcomes for the February 2025 bar examination held in Bismarck, North Dakota. Out of 22 candidates, nine succeeded, reflecting a 41 percent pass rate. This marks a decline from the 61 percent pass rate recorded the previous year. New examinees achieved a 60 percent success rate.
Notably, 18 candidates were graduates from the University of North Dakota School of Law. Only seven succeeded, resulting in a 39 percent pass rate, a drop from 63 percent the previous year. Among these graduates, two took the bar examination for the first time, with one passing, yielding a 50 percent pass rate.
