Attorney General Peter F. Neronha has released the 2024 Annual Gun Crimes Report. This report is statutorily required and provides an analysis of firearms offenses, along with details of efforts to combat gun violence in Rhode Island. The report includes a summary of new gun violence prevention laws and how these laws are implemented to enhance safety throughout the state.
"Communities across Rhode Island continue to be affected by firearms-related crime," the report notes. The Attorney General expresses a commitment to using investigatory and prosecutorial resources to tackle this ongoing issue.
