The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania has reported the sentencing of Eustolio Sanchez-Ramirez, a 38-year-old Mexican national from Chiapas, to three months in prison for illegal re-entry into the United States. United States District Judge Jennifer P. Wilson delivered the sentence on March 27, 2025. The prison term will run consecutively with any future sentences that may be handed down in Dauphin County under Magisterial Docket No: CR-796-2024.

Acting United States Attorney John C. Gurganus stated that Sanchez-Ramirez had previously been deported from the U.S. to Mexico in November 2018. Following his deportation, he returned to the U.S. without obtaining legal authorization. He was discovered in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, on December 19, 2024.

The investigation into this case was conducted by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations, along with the Harrisburg Police Bureau. The prosecution is led by Assistant U.S. Attorney David C. Williams.
