U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has announced that Andiyer Eduardo Con Yucutie, a 25-year-old Guatemalan citizen, pleaded guilty to the charge of reentry of a removed alien and was sentenced to time served. Following his sentencing, Yucutie was handed over to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The case was managed by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Andrew Henning and Sasha Mascarenhas. They confirmed that Yucutie is an undocumented individual in the United States and a native of Guatemala. In July 2024, he was deported from the United States back to Guatemala. However, on January 25, 2025, he was discovered at the Lewiston Bridge Port of Entry in the United States. A records check confirmed his identity as the same person deported in July 2024.

The investigation leading to Yucutie's plea and sentencing was conducted by Customs and Border Protection under Director of Field Operations Rose Brophy's leadership.
