William Carl Jackson, a 36-year-old resident of Sacramento, has entered a guilty plea for robbing postal carriers while armed with a dangerous weapon. This development was announced by Acting United States Attorney Michele Beckwith.

Court documents reveal that Jackson committed these robberies on July 11 and July 31, 2024. During each incident, he used a fake pistol to threaten the victims and demanded their postal keys before escaping on a bicycle.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service conducted the investigation leading to Jackson's charges. Assistant United States Attorney Elliot C. Wong is handling the prosecution of this case.

Jackson's sentencing is set for June 13, 2025. He could face up to 25 years in prison and a fine of $250,000. The final sentence will be determined by the court based on statutory factors and Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
