Jahking Allah, also known as "Stop Sign," was sentenced to 37 months in prison for trafficking fentanyl and crack cocaine in Burlington, Vermont. The sentence was handed down by Chief United States District Judge Christina Reiss on March 11, 2025. Following his prison term, Allah will undergo a three-year supervised release period.

Allah had admitted to distributing the drugs after selling cocaine base to a cooperating individual in Burlington on two occasions in January 2024. Law enforcement conducted a search of the apartment where Allah was staying at 195 St. Paul Street, Apt. A, on January 19. The search resulted in the discovery of seven handguns—three reported stolen—and significant quantities of cocaine base and fentanyl alongside multiple digital scales.

Acting U.S. Attorney Michael P. Drescher acknowledged the efforts of the Burlington Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration in this investigation.

The prosecution was led by Assistant United States Attorney Nicole Cate, while Allah's defense included Assistant Federal Public Defenders Emily Kenyon and Steve Barth.

This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), which aims to reduce violent crime and gun violence through collaboration between law enforcement agencies and communities. On May 26, 2021, an enhanced strategy for PSN was launched focusing on trust-building within communities, supporting violence prevention organizations, setting strategic enforcement priorities, and measuring outcomes effectively.
