Muskogee resident pleads guilty to methamphetamine distribution charge

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma has reported that Dewayne Tyree Miller, also known as Dejuan Tyree Miller, aged 28 from Muskogee, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to a charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

According to the indictment, on July 17, 2024, Miller was found in possession of a substance containing methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance. The investigation leading to these charges was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives along with the Muskogee Police Department.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson accepted Miller's plea in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. The judge ordered a presentence investigation report and stated that Miller will remain under the custody of the United States Marshals Service until sentencing.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jacob Parker.
