The Supreme Court of Maryland is set to conduct oral arguments in Montgomery County on March 4, 2025. The session will take place at the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center auditorium within Montgomery College and will be available via livestream.
This initiative is part of the court's practice of holding sessions at educational institutions twice a year in different locations across the state. This marks the third consecutive year that such proceedings are being held outside Annapolis.
Chief Justice Mary Ellen Barbera stated, "The Supreme Court of Maryland holds oral arguments at secondary or post-secondary educational institutions twice a term year at geographically diverse locations."
The event is scheduled to commence at 9:30 a.m. and aims to engage with local communities by providing them access to observe judicial processes firsthand.
