Foley & Lardner LLP is proud to be named a 2024 Pro Bono Leader by the American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service in recognition of the firm’s contributions to the ABA Free Legal Answers program.

ABA Free Legal Answers is a virtual legal advice clinic in which qualifying users post civil legal questions at no cost to be answered by pro bono attorneys licensed in their state. Now in its ninth year, ABA Free Legal Answers has responded to more than 400,000 civil legal questions submitted by users to the over 15,000 pro bono attorneys from 43 jurisdictions, including a federal portal addressing veterans’ benefits and immigration questions. Each year, the Committee recognizes participating attorneys, law firms, corporate law departments, and other organizations that have provided extraordinary pro bono service through the program.

As part of the firm’s commitment to providing meaningful pro bono opportunities for our attorneys and quality legal services to those who most need our help, in 2024, Foley attorneys in Massachusetts, Utah, and Wisconsin answered 145 civil legal questions through ABA Free Legal Answers.
