Two men indicted for marijuana grow facility robberies

Two men have been indicted by a Multi-County Grand Jury in Oklahoma City for their alleged involvement in robberies at marijuana grow facilities. Marquethz Latrale Lee, 27, faces nine felony charges related to the July 26 robbery of Redbud Relief Farms in Chandler and the August 14 attempted robbery of ZMAT LLC in Seminole. Tauriawn Latrelle Knight, 25, is charged with five felonies concerning the incidents at Redbud Relief Farms.

Attorney General Gentner Drummond commended his Organized Crime Task Force and partner agencies for their efforts against organized crime in the state. "My office is committed to rooting out dangerous criminal activity and protecting public safety," he stated. "These two individuals will face the full force of the law."

The charges against Lee and Knight include conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, first-degree robbery, first- and second-degree burglary, and assault while masked. They allegedly broke into Redbud Relief Farms' residence and marijuana grow buildings, assaulted occupants, and demanded money. The duo is accused of stealing marijuana, cash, credit cards, and a Ford F-150 truck before escaping.

Lee also faces charges of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, first- and second-degree burglary, and engaging in a pattern of criminal offenses after allegedly trying to rob two individuals at ZMAT LLC with intentions to steal marijuana.

It is important to note that every person arrested or indicted is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
