A man from Princeton, Kentucky, has been sentenced to 24 years in federal prison for methamphetamine distribution and related offenses. The sentencing was announced by U.S. Attorney Michael A. Bennett of the Western District of Kentucky, DEA Louisville Field Division Special Agent in Charge Jim Scott, Princeton Police Department Chief Chris King, and Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force Director David Thompson.
Court documents reveal that Micah Gray, aged 44, sold methamphetamine on three occasions over two days from August 26 to August 27, 2021. During a search of his apartment on August 27, investigators found approximately one and a half pounds of methamphetamine along with items used for its distribution.
The investigation involved the DEA Paducah Post of Duty Office, the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, and the Princeton Police Department. They received support from the Kentucky State Police and the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office for the 56th Judicial Circuit.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Seth A. Hancock prosecuted the case with help from paralegal Cristy Crockett.
