The Oklahoma Attorney General has added a new name to the state's 10 Most Wanted list. Angel Ivan Ibarra, 19, is suspected of being involved in a double homicide that took place in Tulsa earlier this month.
According to police, Ibarra is believed to be one of two shooters responsible for the February 8 attack at a Tulsa apartment complex. The incident resulted in the deaths of two teenagers and injuries to two others. Investigators have identified Christopher Atjun as an alleged accomplice; he is currently in custody. Police indicate that one of the murder victims was specifically targeted by Ibarra and Atjun, while the other three victims were not intended targets.
Law enforcement agencies are actively working together on this case. Agents from the Attorney General’s Office are collaborating with the Tulsa Police Department in efforts to apprehend Ibarra. A reward of up to $8,000 has been offered for information leading directly to his arrest.
Attorney General Gentner Drummond stated, "It is our hope that Oklahomans can help lead to the capture of this dangerous individual.” He emphasized the effectiveness of the 10 Most Wanted list as a tool for tracking down fugitives.
Further information about other individuals still at large can be found on the Attorney General’s 10 Most Wanted page. Financial rewards ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 may be available for information that leads directly to an arrest.
