A Lake City man has been sentenced to over a decade in federal prison for methamphetamine distribution. Jeremy Leonardo Roldan, aged 52, received a sentence of 10 years and 4 months from Senior United States District Judge Timothy J. Corrigan. Roldan had pleaded guilty on October 3, 2024, to selling a significant quantity of methamphetamine.

Court documents reveal that on December 11, 2023, Roldan sold methamphetamine to an undercover law enforcement officer. This transaction was not his first; he had previously sold the drug to the same officer on at least two occasions. In total, Roldan was responsible for distributing 59 grams of pure methamphetamine. At the time of these offenses, he was already on supervised release for a similar crime.

The investigation involved multiple agencies: the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; the Drug Enforcement Administration; the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office; and the Lake City Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney John Cannizzaro.
