Acting United States Attorney Matthew R. Molsen has announced the sentencing of Jose Israel Robledo, a 45-year-old resident of Omaha, Nebraska. Robledo was sentenced on February 13, 2025, in federal court for distributing 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine. Chief United States District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. handed down a sentence of 168 months' imprisonment to Robledo. Following his release from prison, he will serve a five-year term of supervised release as there is no parole in the federal system.

The incident leading to Robledo's arrest occurred on January 5, 2023. On that day, he distributed approximately one pound of methamphetamine to a DEA Confidential Source at a Burger King location in Omaha. After completing the sale, Robledo returned to his residence where law enforcement officials followed and subsequently arrested him. The transaction involved lab-confirmed 449.2 grams of actual methamphetamine with a purity level of 100%.

The investigation into this case was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
