The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Montana has announced that Timothy J. Racicot is now serving as the Acting U.S. Attorney. This follows the departure of former U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich.
In his new role, Racicot will be the chief federal law enforcement official in Montana. He brings extensive experience to the position, having joined as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in October 2005 and serving as First Assistant U.S. Attorney since August 2022.
Racicot's educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Carroll College and a law degree from the University of Notre Dame.
