Lincoln man found guilty in methamphetamine distribution conspiracy

United States Attorney Susan Lehr announced that William Arthur Parrott, aged 54, from Lincoln, Nebraska, was convicted on January 30, 2025. The conviction was made by a federal jury in Lincoln for conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine mixture. The trial lasted three days and was overseen by United States District Judge Susan M. Bazis.

The jury heard evidence including testimony from three individuals involved in drug distribution with Parrott between March 2020 and November 2022. Additional evidence presented by the Government included text messages exchanged between Parrott and one of the witnesses about drug transactions, drugs discovered during a search of a witness’s hotel room, information from searches involving co-conspirators, a tracker placed on a co-conspirator’s vehicle, and surveillance conducted by narcotics investigators.

Parrott is set to be sentenced on April 24, 2025. He faces a minimum sentence of ten years in prison and could receive up to life imprisonment along with a fine of up to $10 million.

The investigation was carried out by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Drug Task Force.
