A Davenport man has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for drug-related charges. Paul Antonio Deon Parrow, also known as "Tone," was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl, as well as possession with intent to distribute these substances.
Court documents and evidence presented during a four-day trial revealed that Parrow, aged 41, distributed methamphetamine and fentanyl over nearly a year in the Quad Cities area. He recruited others to assist in distributing drugs and used multiple residences within the Quad Cities for storing and selling the substances. Parrow was held responsible for distributing more than 26 pounds of methamphetamine and 145 grams of fentanyl.
Following his prison term, Parrow will serve a five-year supervised release period. It is important to note that there is no parole available in the federal system.
The announcement was made by United States Attorney Richard D. Westphal from the Southern District of Iowa. The investigation was conducted by the Davenport Police Department.
