A Morrisdale resident has admitted guilt in a federal court for charges related to narcotics violations, as announced by United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan. Jennifer Quick, aged 50, confessed to charges before United States District Judge Marilyn J. Horan.

The court was informed that between October 2019 and January 2020, Quick conspired to distribute and possessed with intent to distribute significant quantities of methamphetamine in the Western District of Pennsylvania. She was caught on a federal wiretap acquiring methamphetamine for distribution. Additionally, from February 2023 to March 2023, she conspired to distribute and possessed with intent to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine.

Judge Horan has set the sentencing date for May 8, 2025. The law stipulates a minimum sentence of ten years up to life imprisonment for Count Two of the Superseding Indictment, with fines reaching $10 million. For Counts One and Two of the Indictment, sentences range from five years up to forty years in prison with fines up to $5 million. Sentences will be determined based on offense severity and any prior criminal history.

Assistant United States Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon is handling the prosecution for these cases. The investigation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration and Pennsylvania State Police, with additional involvement from various federal and local agencies.

This case is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) initiative aimed at dismantling high-level drug traffickers and criminal organizations through a coordinated multi-agency approach.
