Choctaw County man pleads guilty to meth distribution

Cory Lamont Bostic, also known as Cory L. Neal, a 48-year-old resident of Hugo, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamine. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma made the announcement.

According to the indictment, Bostic was accused of knowingly and intentionally possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it on September 7, 2023. Methamphetamine is classified as a Schedule II controlled substance.

The case was investigated by several agencies including the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, and the Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Police.

U.S. Magistrate Judge D. Edward Snow accepted Bostic's plea in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. A presentence investigation report has been ordered, and Bostic will remain in custody under the United States Marshals Service until sentencing.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jordan Howanitz represented the prosecution in this case.
