A Stilwell resident has entered a guilty plea in federal court to charges related to drug distribution. Clint Rogers Chuculate, also known as Clint Robert Chuculate, age 40, admitted guilt to possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it.
The indictment stated that Chuculate knowingly possessed the Schedule II controlled substance on September 19, 2024, intending to distribute it. This incident took place in Adair County within the Cherokee Nation Reservation's boundaries.
The investigation leading to this charge was conducted by the Adair County Sheriff's Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The case was overseen by Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Judge Robertson accepted Chuculate's guilty plea and has requested a presentence investigation report. Until sentencing is determined, Chuculate will remain under the custody of the United States Marshals Service.
