The Judicial Nominating Commission for County Court in the Fourth Judicial District is set to hold a public hearing on January 24, 2025. The hearing will take place at the Douglas County Courthouse in Omaha, Nebraska. Supreme Court Justice Stephanie F. Stacy announced that the commission will review candidates for the vacancy left by Judge Darryl R. Lowe's resignation.
Applications for this judicial position must be submitted by January 3, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. CST. Prospective candidates can access the application package through the Nebraska Judicial Branch website and submit their applications electronically or via mail as instructed.
A subsequent public notice will disclose the list of candidates and details on how to provide public testimony or submit information to the commission.
