West Virginia will host the HOPE Family Drug Summit on January 15, 2025, at the University of Charleston. The event is open to families affected by Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and aims to provide a platform for survivors, their families, and professionals in the field to exchange information and foster collaboration.
The summit seeks to strengthen partnerships and provide support to those suffering from SUD and their families. It is free of charge and invites a diverse group of participants including individuals impacted by SUD, recovery professionals, probation officers, social workers, school personnel, victim advocates, and others who offer services to these communities.
The event is sponsored in partnership with several organizations such as the Drug Enforcement Administration's Louisville Division, Federal Public Defender’s Office SDWV, First Choice Services, Jobs & Hope West Virginia, Legal Aid of West Virginia, Mission West Virginia, West Virginia Center for Children’s Justice, West Virginia Department of Homeland Security, West Virginia Fusion Center, West Virginia Public Defender Services, and the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
