The North Dakota Office of Attorney General has announced a vacancy for the position of Assistant Attorney General. This full-time role offers a salary ranging from $81,000 to $105,000 annually and includes a comprehensive state benefits package. The position is located at 500 North 9th Street in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Courtney Titus, Director of the Civil Litigation Division, will oversee the selection process. The new hire will join the team in providing legal services to more than 70 state agencies and educational institutions across North Dakota. Key responsibilities include litigation advocacy in areas such as social and health services, torts, civil rights, constitutional law, prisoner litigation, enforcement actions, and labor law.
Applicants must be licensed to practice law in North Dakota or expect imminent admission to the bar. The position requires high ethical standards and strong communication skills. Additionally, candidates should have excellent time management abilities and experience in legal research and writing.
Preferred qualifications include one to two years of experience in general civil litigation or similar fields. Applications are accepted online until December 6, 2024.
