Agents from the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, led by Attorney General Liz Murrill, arrested Carrol Ray Clark from Morgan City on November 6, 2024. The arrest followed a joint investigation involving the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.
Clark, aged 49 and residing at 138 Jamie Court in Morgan City, faces multiple charges. These include 21 counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 (a felony), one count of first-degree rape, two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, and three counts related to the production of pornography involving juveniles.
Following his initial arrest, Clark was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center. On November 7, he faced additional charges for ten violations related to juvenile pornography. Further charges were added on November 18 for first-degree rape and other offenses involving juveniles.
Attorney General Murrill commented on the situation: “As a mom, every one of these stories is both heartbreaking and infuriating. Thanks to my LBI agents and all our law enforcement partners, this monster is off the streets and behind bars.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
