The Maryland Judiciary has announced the passing of Judge Aaron A. Baer at the age of 103. Judge Baer had a distinguished career, serving on the Baltimore City Municipal Court and District Court from 1961 to 1981. His service extended beyond the judiciary; he was a member of the General Assembly from 1959 to 1961 and chaired the Governor’s Commission on Provident Hospital in 1960. Additionally, he served as Assistant Attorney General of Maryland from 1947 to 1954.

Judge Baer's contributions to public service were significant, reflecting his dedication to the state over several decades.
