The Anne Arundel County District Court is set to host an educational program titled "Schools in the Court" on Thursday, March 24, at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place in Courtroom 1 at the Anne Arundel County District Court located at 251 Rowe Blvd., Annapolis.

Judge Shaem C.P. Spencer will preside over the session, which aims to educate students from Broadneck High School and Indian Creek School about the legal and financial repercussions of poor decision-making. The program includes presentations from individuals who have encountered the legal system due to offenses such as drunk driving, speeding, and texting while driving.

Students will also observe real court cases and participate in question-and-answer sessions with court personnel to gain a deeper understanding of the judiciary.
