The District Court of Maryland announced the cancellation of its afternoon dockets at the Robert F. Sweeney Building in Annapolis due to an air conditioning unit failure. This disruption affects only the Annapolis courthouse, while court activities at the Glen Burnie location continue as scheduled.
Defendants who were supposed to appear in court for these sessions will be notified by the court about their rescheduled dates. Despite the closure, the commissioner station within the Annapolis courthouse remains operational.
The District Court for Anne Arundel County confirmed that normal operations would resume on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
