The Circuit Court for Baltimore City is set to hold pre-trial motion hearings in the case of State of Maryland v. Caesar Goodson, Edward Nero, Garrett Miller, Brian Rice, Alicia White, and William Porter. The hearings are scheduled for September 2 and September 10, 2015, both starting at 9:30 a.m. The Honorable Barry G. Williams will preside over the proceedings.

Due to limited seating capacity in the courtroom, reserved seating will be available for media representatives. Those interested must register in advance by contacting the Maryland Judiciary’s Office of Communications and Public Affairs via email at [email protected]. Registration requires providing personal and professional details such as name, media outlet affiliation, contact numbers, and email address. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with one representative per media outlet.

Media representatives are advised to arrive by 8 a.m. to secure their seats. A designated area for media interviews will be set up outside the Clarence M. Mitchell Jr. Courthouse at the northwest corner of Fayette and Calvert Streets.

Parking restrictions will be enforced around both courthouses during the hearings, with no parking allowed in these areas. Media trucks have a separate staging area at City Hall Plaza.

All attending media should familiarize themselves with the Security/Media Protocol Order and understand policies regarding electronic devices within court facilities.
