The Prince George's County Courthouse in Upper Marlboro will not be accessible to the public on Monday, February 23. This closure affects both the District Court and Circuit Court trials scheduled at this location.

District Court bond hearings will take place at the Hyattsville courthouse, located at 4990 Rhode Island Avenue, at 1:15 p.m. New domestic violence petitions can also be filed there. Meanwhile, Circuit Court bond hearings are set for 11:00 a.m. at the Prince George’s County detention center.

The Circuit Court Judiciary Services Building and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Unit in the County Administration Building will remain open during regular business hours.

Efforts are ongoing to repair damage and restore power at the Upper Marlboro courthouse. The timeline for completing these repairs is currently unknown. Employees of the court should reach out to their supervisors for further guidance.
