The Maryland Judiciary has announced that starting November 12, 2014, the District Court in Baltimore City will relocate bail review hearings from the Central Booking Intake Facility at 300 E. Madison Street to two new locations. This move aims to enhance customer service and optimize the use of judicial resources and staff.
According to the judiciary, the new venues will offer greater convenience for media representatives, the public, and family members who wish to attend bail review hearings. Attendees will find it easier to obtain information from the clerk’s office at these locations. Additionally, access to public transportation and free parking is expected to be more readily available with reduced congestion.
