With Taylor Swift set to perform in Indianapolis this weekend, Attorney General Todd Rokita has issued a warning to fans about potential ticket scams. Rokita emphasized the need for vigilance when purchasing tickets to avoid falling victim to fraud.
“I know Hoosiers look forward to seeing their favorite artists in concert, especially someone as big as Taylor Swift,” said Attorney General Rokita. “But when buying tickets, don’t lose your hard-earned money on a scam.”
Rokita provided several tips for consumers to ensure they are prepared and can avoid scams when buying tickets. He urged those who believe they have been defrauded to report the incident immediately both to the payment company used and the Office of the Indiana Attorney General.
Hoosiers can report scams by visiting indianaconsumer.com or calling 317-232-6330.
